Baked by Maman: Branding, Social & Supporting Assets

A sub brand of Modern Persian Kitchen; unique bakes, inspired by the flavours of Iran.

The story
Handmade in small batches, each box is carefully crafted by Maman herself. Wrapped in deluxe packaging and coming complete with a mini gift card, these boxes are the perfect treat or as a treat for any occasion.Background
In Middle Eastern culture sweet treats are very popular, however in this category there's not many brands who create a modern offering with infused flavours.

The details
Following in the footsteps of Modern Persian Kitchen, we wanted to create a slick, clean and sophisticated brand that represents the unique flavours of the baked goods on offer.

Design services: As the sole designer of Nat's Paper Studio, producing designs and creative which were either bespoke or part of a House Collection template for individual clients, wedding planners and wedding venues. This also included producing my own creative in order to push the brand across the board and at events such as wedding showcases and venue fairs.

Web design: A fully functioning website build in Squarespace, with a small e-commerce section, but with a main focus on showcasing creative and a portfolio of work.

Business branding and packaging: Sitting under the parent brand I wanted this to act like a stand alone entity, however compliment the Modern Persian Kitchen offering. Creating a new brand identity and lock up, tone of voice (focusing on Mum herself), colour palette and packaging to run across all mediums including web, print and social.

Ecommerce: Sitting on the Modern Persian Kitchen platform, the site uses the same design structures I built as a template, however there's back end development that differs to allow for separate delivery rules, inventory and site tarffic.

Food and product photography: Like Modern Persian Kitchen, I solely created the brand look and feel which included directing, creating and photographing product shots for the online platform, social and print materials.  

Social media: Direction, content creation and management of social platforms. Focusing on Instagram Reels and TikTok in particular to target a different audience. Using a combination of Modern Persian Kitchen's channels and standalone Baked by Maman socials to cross pollinate and push organic traffic throughout the network.

Social strategy focus on User Generated Content and Influencer partnerships to advertise the new brand across the board.
