Once a DESIGNER, always a DESIGNER

MINI ME
THE YOUNGER YEARS
Design is part of my DNA, as a child I was obsessed with creating
GROWING UP
how it ALL began
As a child I was fascinated with paper, obsessed with packaging and couldn’t get enough of typography... My desire to create has grown from a hobby into a career and I now spend my every minute on a mission to make my world pretty.

Throughout my school years I excelled in the arts, design and technology and creative writing. Cooking also became a passion, coming from an immensely foodie family and having a Dad as a chef this was always going to be on the cards.

On finishing school I took up Double IT and Textile Design at college. I then went on to study Multimedia Design at uni and after graduating moved to London to pursue my career as a designer.
CAREER MUSINGS
CARVING MY WAY IN THE INDUSTRY
I started my career in the ad industry working on household names such as Virgin Media, Bacardi and Cadbury’s. In 2014 I wanted to experience more of what the design world had to offer and took the leap into freelancing where I worked for top agencies around London on brands such as Honda, Co-op, Google and Samsung.

In 2017 I left to pursue my passion for paper with Nat’s Paper Studio. This studio was created out of an insatiable passion for all things bright and beautiful.  So I married my experience as a designer in the advertising world to my stationery addiction to offer services from wedding stationery, on the day design, styling and tablescapes to party invites, prints and wall art.
THE NOW
PASSIONS SPARKED
As Covid hit and the wedding landscape changed I moved into my family business Modern Persian Kitchen, our award winning food company. As a Co-Founder with my parents this position has seen me take on a variety of roles and be the sole person responsible for creative and design across the board. From creating the brand, designing the packaging and building and creating a customer facing e-commerce website to product photography, email design and social media content.

Meanwhile (whlie pregnant with Lily and building up Modern Persian Kitchen) I was renovating our Clarence Road home where my love for interiors grew and soon became an obsession. An area of design I had always had a keen eye for, but never truly put it into practice. This desire to make the world around me and our home a personal, practical yet creative space remains firmly today while renovating our new home and working with interior clients on a new part of my business.

FAMILY
HOME LIFE
Meanwhile in my personal life I married my husband Tom in a beautiful ceremony at Millbridge Court at the height of my stationery career in 2018 and in 2019 became a Mum to Lily with Rosa following shortly after in 2022.

Although the girls are so different, it fills me with joy that they are both little crafters. My love for painting, making and decorating has been passed down to another generation of imaginative creatives.

The thing about design is that it’s a passion... it can be taught, but true creative is something that's built deep within.
LET'S CHAT
All of this is important, but you're here for a reason... so instead of reading about it, why don’t we arrange a chat or a meet up? After all, the only good way to get a sense of someone is over a big G&T (that’s what I’ve been told anyway). So contact me and we can talk further.
